ExWHU Employee
For those who are familiar with his work (or even care), one does start to suspect more & more that this fella is a pawn used by Sullivan to do his bidding.

I've no doubt how well informed he is and am not questioning his validity as a reliable ITK, but if I can jump put of his arse for one moment, he is clearly quite anti-Slav and has made subtle digs him in his last few columns. Fair enough, opinions and all that, but when you make it known how pally you are with the Sullivan kids you start to wonder if there is an agenda being whipped up. He never says anything detrimental about the owners (Sullivan in particular) and has their back every time that criticism is aimed at them. Of course people are entitled to feel the owners (and Brady) are doing a great job, but IF he is trying to muddy the name of the manager given his position and exposure than that is one hell of a dirty tactic.

When it comes to transfer info we are all grateful for a few crumbs off the table, but has it come to the point where this guy is now a massive hindrance to the club? It seems as though everyone knows our transfer targets and how much we are trying to get them for - he now even has a column for The Sun Online, for fuck sake.

Did we need New of the World style bollocks about the 'rumoured' cause of Payet's marital problems? Complete with toe-curling 'if true, we know how she feels' type comment?

Sorry I can't quote directly, as that bit of ex's Payet column seems to have.. disappeared?

Still, as everyone knows, once you've got it out there, it's out there.

Re: ExWHU Employee

Sums up my feelings on this very nicely

The club are damned either way.

Keep quiet and then fans complain and demand "transparency". Give out info to keep fans informed (whether directly or indirectly) and they're accused of being "unprofessional"

Because you said there was little bullshit written by the media yet I showed you a website where there is page after page of bullshit...

Re: ExWHU Employee
why would I need to do that?

There's people that post on here that know more than any of those.

Take a look on this website then stewie and you will see that the media is a lot more than just major newspapers...

the media have printed very little in this window that's bullshit...and as much as it pains the newspaper snobs, The Sun is about the most accurate rag regarding West Ham news.

Re: ExWHU Employee
It's difficult isn't it? One the one hand I like to hear rumours about our transfers but I know the media spoil it by printing loads of stuff that is clearly just bullshit.

When I was younger I used to read all the Sunday papers gossip columns avidly while doing a paper round. Now everyone expects to have the latest transfer info at the touch of a button.

I'll lay a £1 to a 1p that next summer the owners will eb getting flack for not telling us what's going on....

Yet when we get someone like Ex that obviously gets reliable info he gets "trolled". Modern fans are a reflection on modern life. All anonymous piss and wind because every fucker feels "entitled"

Yes, when people keep them. Instant dismissal for leaks.

I'm sure the process is very difficult, but surely it becomes a little harder when everyone is aware of your plans.

Re: ExWHU Employee
either way and your opinion would be we havent tried, players have the choice, its very difficult and lucky to get an Antonio type player, as for top players, we are just not big enough.

Re: ExWHU Employee
10, I'd probably be a lot happier when players are unveiled once a deal has been signed, rather than the club wet the appetite of supporters and then fail to deliver 'but we tried.'

Will, I find internet terminology very cringeworthy personally, mate.

You're telling me to grow up because you don't like the term "trolling"!!!

Ironic Bigot don't you think?

Re: ExWHU Employee
Will, firstly the Internet phrase of trolling is cunty. Grow up. Secondly, I'm not having a dig at Andy, I'm having a dig at our fucking club and it's school boy way of doing business. I want a closed shop, not them telegraphing via some whelck so he can get likes and follows.

David Sullivan is a fucking midget knob and he's a midget knob with a huge ego as he enjoys the adulation from the support, which is why he feeds Ex with information.

Do business like a proper football club and keep fucking quiet about it.

Re: ExWHU Employee
I remember ringing up club call every day in the summer of 96 trying to get info about our latest signings. In my defence I was about 14 at the time.

Isn't that what this is? A bunch of spotty geeks hanging on the word of various ITKs trying to get the latest info to impress their geeky mates at school. You're surely not all grown men?

Willtell 9:10 Thu Jan 19

andyd
I guess you get the problem from the way you are being trolled just for knowing Ex.

This is why all ITK's are eventually hounded out from giving out information. Unfortunately, the internet is fill of people acting like Billy Big Bollocks when they are inconsequential wankers in real life.... especially Joey Nutmeg

Re: ExWHU Employee
I've had some dealings with Ex via twitter and that and he has always been a pleasant chap

Of course i like to know the bits he comes out with but agree that some stuff should remain private and not public knowledge. Transfer business in particular

The club must be aware or feed him info, too much comes out for the club to be making no effort to seal their leaks
